Cairo – Mubasher: The UK-based SDX Energy Inc. has announced the success of production test conducted at its SD-4X appraisal well at South Disouq, Egypt.
The well flowed at a rate of 30.4 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) during an eight hour clean-up period, the North Africa-focused oil and gas company said in a statement.
The British firm is looking to connect SD-4X to infrastructure located adjacent to SD-1X discovery over the coming months, CEO of SDX Paul Welch noted.
“We are targeting a late Q4-18 start-up of production in South Disouq and this well test result provides us with additional confidence to deliver on our planned plateau rate of 50 MMscfd of conventional natural gas,” Welch indicated.
