Cairo – Mubasher: The United Nations (UN) has announced that it will provide Egypt with a $1.2 billion financial support until 2022, the UN resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative in Egypt said.
The aid is set to finance various sectors, including economy, social justice, and sustainable management of natural resources, Richard Dictus added in a statement according to the Investment and International Cooperation Ministry.
The official further noted that the UN offered financial and technical support to more than 202,000 small and medium-sized organisations, as well as provided training to 94,000 of Egyptian youth through collaborating with eight ministries.
