Cairo – Mubasher: Union National Bank (UNB) posted an increase of 85.3% in its profits for the third quarter of 2016 to stand at EGP 73.4million, compared with EGP 39.62 million a year earlier, according to bourse filing on Sunday.
Net profit for the first nine months thus reached EGP 163.5 million, higher 46.8% year-over-year from EGP 111.37 million.
In the first half, the bank earned EGP 90.1 million, compared with EGP 71.75 million in Q1-15.
