Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar moved higher against the Egyptian pound on Tuesday to record EGP 19.15 to EGP 18.75 for the buying side, while being offered for EGP 18.95 to EGP 19.75, according to the data offered by number of Egyptian banks.
The currency pair offered for 19.15 and 19.45 at each of the United Bank and Piraeus Bank.
Earlier, the central bank of Egypt decided to float the Egyptian pound against the US dollar, where the currency value will be determined according to the law of demand and supply without any intervention from the central bank.
