Mubasher: US oil inventories increased by 11.4 million barrels in the latest week ended 22 January, according to a data released by the American Petroleum Institute.
Platts projected US stockpiles to rise by 3.5 million barrels during the same period.
The US Energy Information Administration is expected to release an official data on US crude stockpiles.
