Cairo – Mubasher: US rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers has held a concert in front of Egypt’s The Great Pyramid of Giza, with over 10,000 attendees.
The concert was promoted by the Egyptian tourism ministry, in line with the country’s efforts to put Egypt back on the international tourism map.
“I’ve always wanted to come to Egypt, I’ve always wanted to see the pyramids, it is spectacular, it’s a dream, and to see Red Hot Chili Peppers here, my favourite band of all time,” American fan Christina Robertson commented, quoted by Reuters.

Winner of six Grammy Awards Red Hot Chili Peppers is a very successful band, with over 60 million albums sold.
