Mubasher: US stocks saw a bullish performance on Friday on the back of recovering oil prices.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) increased by 0.45% or 79.9 points to stand at 17,740.63 points.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index advanced 0.32% or 6.5 points to reach 2,057.14 points.
The NASDAQ Composite index rose 0.4% or 19.06 points to close at 4,736.16 points.
