Mubasher: US stocks opened in the green on Friday, backed by positive data on retails sales for April, which reported the highest increase since March 2015.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) grew 0.14% by 2:45pm GMT, while the Standard and Poor's 500 (S&P 500) advanced 0.16%.
Similarly, the Nasdaq index was up 0.13%.
