Mubasher: The American stocks opened Monday’s trading session in the red zone, as oil high gains started to fade away.
By 1:40 GMT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.54% or 100 points, reaching the level of 18,206 points.
Nasdaq was also down to 5,294 points, while S&P lost 0.46% at 2,158 points.
In oil markets, NYMEX crude prices for November delivery increased by less than 0.1% to $48.2, while Brent crude rose to $50.2 per barrel.
