Mubasher: US stocks opened Friday in the positive territory as the US government revised the economic growth rate higher during the fourth quarter of 2015.
The markets were also boosted by oil price recovery which reflected positively on investor sentiment.
At 2:55GMT, Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.29% and S&P Index moved 0.43% higher.
Nasdaq Composite also rose 0.61%.
