US stocks open higher

Mubasher: US stocks saw a positive performance in Friday’s early trades.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 0.2% by 2:15pm GMT, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 gained 0.18%.

The NASDAQ Composite index went up 0.1%.
