Mubasher: US stocks saw a positive performance in Friday’s early trades, amid anticipations of the Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen's speech in the annual Jackson Hole central banking conference.
The Dow Jones industrial average went up 0.38% or 69.3 points to reach 18,517.71 points.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 advanced 0.34% to reach 2,179.83 points. Likewise, the NASDAQ composite index rose 0.35% to reach 5,230.49 points.
