Mubasher: The US stock markets started Friday’s session in green, in line with the rise of both banks and financial sectors.
Both J.P. Morgan and Citibank recorded financial statements that came better than estimates for the third quarter.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) gained 0.74% or 128.3 points to reach 18,227.9 points by 2:30 GMT.
Similarly, Standard and Poor’s went up 0.52% or 10.99 points to 2,143.54 points.
Nasdaq Composite index levelled up 0.57% to reach 5,243.23 points.
