Cairo – Mubasher: The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound has jumped by nearly 44 piasters, 35 piasters for buy and sell sides respectively at the Egyptian banks.
The currency pair recorded nearly EGP 18.15 to 18.99 for the buy side and EGP 18.5 to EGP 19.25 for the sell side.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Egypt decided to float the Egyptian pound against the US dollar.
