Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar extended its rally against the Egyptian pound, on Tuesday, at the Egyptian banking system.
The USD – EGP pair traded at 17.2, 17.25 for buy and sell sides respectively, up by 70 piasters from the previous day, according to the Commercial International Bank (CIB) exchange rates figures.
The currency pair traded also at 17.2, 17.25 for buy and sell sides respectively at each of National Bank, Banque du Caire, Banque Misr and United Bank.
Meanwhile, the pair traded at 16.50, 17.5 for buy and sell sides respectively at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) – Egypt.
