Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar exchange rate declined against the Egyptian pound on Thursday at Egypt-based banks.
The Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank set EGP 16.5 per dollar for purchase and EGP 17.4 per dollar for sale.
The USD – EGP pair traded at 16.5 and 16.9 for buy and sale respectively, according to the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and the Commercial International Bank (CIB).
According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average exchange rate stood at EGP 17.01 for asks and EGP 17.69 for bids.
