Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar extended its rally against the Egyptian pound according the Egyptian banking systems figures on Wednesday.
The currency pair traded at 17.50, 18.50 for buy side and sell side respectively at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank( ADIB) – Egypt, down by 30 piasters and up by 25 piasters for buy and sell side respectively compared with Tuesday trades.
Each of the National Bank of Egypt, Banque du Caire, Banque Misr and Commercial International Bank offered the US dollar for EGP 17.35 and bought it for EGP 17.15.
Meanwhile, the pair traded at 17.55, 17.15 for the buy side and the sell side respectively at Suez Canal Bank and at 17.25, 17.85 at Faisal Islamic Bank.
