Cairo - Mubasher: On Sunday, the 53th day since the central bank of Egypt’s (CBE) decision to float the local currency, the US dollar averaged EGP 19.5 in a sample of 21 banks.
Exchange rates varied between EGP 19.75 to 19.6 per dollar, with the highest selling price seen at Faisal Islamic Bank at EGP 19.75, followed by Misr Iran at EGP 19.6.
On the other hand, the lowest selling price was recorded at the commercial international bank (CIB), Banque Mist, National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at EGP 18.85, followed by Bank of Alexandria at EGP 18.95.
Meanwhile, the highest buying price was registered at Piraeus and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) at EGP 18.99.
