Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian pound (EGP) declined against the US dollar at early trades in Egypt-based banks.
Egyptian Export Development Bank carried early transactions at EGP 17.45 per dollar for bids and EGP 18.05 for sale.
The highest X-rate for purchase was EGP 17.48 per dollar in the Arab African International Bank, while the lowest rate for sale was registered at EGP 17.5 by Alexandria Bank.
According to Banque du Caire, Banque Misr, the National Bank of Egypt, CIB, and HSBC, the EGP-USD rate was 17.40-5 for purchase and 17.7-95 for sale.
