Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar recorded a rise against the Egyptian at Egypt-based banks' early trades on Tuesday.
The EGP-USD exchange rate stood at 18.25 for sale and 17.8 for purchase, according to HSBC.
The currency pair was traded at EGP 17.65 for bids and EGP 17.95 at the National Bank of Egypt and at EGP 17.75 for bids and EGP 17.95 for asks at Banque Misr.
The average rate decided by the central bank on Monday was EGP 17.55 per dollar for purchase and EGP 17.93 per dollar for sale.
