Cairo - Mubasher: The price of the US dollar settled in Egyptian banks on Sunday 8 January, with buying prices ranging between EGP 17.8 to 18.5, and EGP 19 to 18.1 for selling.
The data of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) showed that the exchange rate of the US Dollar in the Egyptian banks during today’s trade averaged EGP 18.5 for buying, and EGP 19 for selling.
Banque Misr and Faisal Islamic Bank offered the lowest selling price at EGP 18.1, with buying prices of EGP 17.8 and 17.85 respectively.
Meanwhile, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) as well as Banque du Caire sat the dollar price at EGP 17.86 for buying and EGP 18.11 for selling.
