Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar’s exchange rate declined against the Egyptian pound on Tuesday at early trades.
The highest X-rate for bids and asks was offered by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank at EGP 18.55 and 18.9, respectively, per dollar.
The EGP-USD pair was traded at EGP 17.9 for purchase and EGP 18.15-55 for sale, according the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and Banque du Caire.
The average rate set by the Central Bank of Egypt on 2 January was EGP 18.4 a dollar for asks and EGP 18.09 a dollar for bids.
