Riyadh – Mubasher: Umm Al Qura Cement turned to profits in the first quarter of 2017.
The company recorded net profits of SAR 17.02 million in Q1-17 against SAR 3.65 million losses in Q1-16, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
The profits achieved were due to the start of the commercial operation of the company, in addition to lower general and administrative expenses.
Sales reached SAR 51.7 million in Q1-17.
