Mubasher: Unicap Investment and Finance recorded a leap of 256.2% in profits to total KWD 520,000 ($1.7 million) in the fourth quarter of 2016 from KWD 146,000 ($476,700) in the same period of the previous year, according to a bourse filing issued on Sunday.
During the fiscal year, earnings totaled KWD 1.39 million when compared to KWD 1.1 million in FY15; a year-on-year rise of 26.4%.
The board members recommended a bonus share of 5% for FY16, with a total of 11.41 million shares.
