Dubai-Mubasher: Union Cooperative Society (Union Coop) recorded earnings of AED 448 million in 2015, a rise of 10% over around AED 407 million in 2014.
Top line increased by 8.7% year-on-year to approx. AED 2.7 billion in 2015, compared with AED 2.5 billion a year earlier, thanks to economic stability and customers' strong confidence, said General Manager Khaled Al Falasi.
He added that Union Coop dominated a 50% market share of the total sales recorded by local societies, noting that Union Coop targets AED 5 billion sales by 2020.
Al Falasi also said the society aims to raise revenues and earnings by 10% and 12%, respectively in 2016.
