United Real Estate’s Q1 profits fall 7.1%

Kuwait-Mubasher: United Real Estate posted a 7.1% decline in profits of the first quarter as compared to the same period in 2015, according to a bourse statement.

The company’s earnings stood at KWD 1.95 million ($6.45 million) in Q1-16, compared to KWD 2.1 million ($6.94 million) in Q1-15.

United Real Estate said the reason behind lower earnings was a marginal decrease in profits from exiting assets in Q1-15.
