Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited financial results showed that Univert Food Industries turned to losses in the third quarter of 2016.
The company recorded EGP 499,200 ($56,200) losses in Q3-16 against EGP 314,610 ($35,420) profits achieved in Q3-15, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
Profit also declined 52.5% to EGP 890,840 in the first nine months of 2016 from EGP 1.9 million registered in the year-ago period.
Total sales rose 40.03% to EGP 26.5 million in the nine-month period of 2016 from EGP 18.96 million in the prior-year period.
