Upper Egypt Flour Mills posts 15.5% rise in H1 earnings

Cairo-Mubasher: Upper Egypt Flour Mills made net earnings of EGP 47.4 million for the first half of 2015/2016, rising 15.5% compared with EGP 47.4 million in the same period a year ago.

Gross profits reached EGP 79 million, compared with EGP 72 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Qena Cylinders mill was stopped for upgrade as of 1 December 2015, the company said in a bourse statement, estimating the initial cost of upgrade at EGP 12 million.
