Mubasher: Vehicles operating in Kuwait retreated by 0.9% year-on-year in 2018, transport figures by the Central Statistical Bureau showed.
The total number of operating vehicles reached 2.075 million by the end of last year, compared with 2.079 million in the preceding year.
This marked the first decline in the number of vehicles in Kuwait since a decade.
The falling number was mainly attributed to the 0.66% year-on-year drop of private vehicles to 1.659 million, from 1.670 million.
