Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Telecommunication (Viva) will hold a board meeting on Sunday to review an acquisition proposal presented by Saudi Telecom (STC).
The board of Viva will consider the purchase offer and pass forward a recommendation supported by advice from an independent investment consultant, based on the laws of Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA).
Earlier this week, STC announced it gained CMA’s approval to make the bid at one Kuwaiti dinar bid per share.
Viva’s board consists of seven members as four represent STC.
