Kuwait-Mubasher: The stock of Kuwait Telecommunications Company (Viva) shifted its direction to the green zone after the announcement made by Saudi Telecom (STC) about the voluntary proposal offer to purchase the remaining stake in Viva. The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) in Kuwait has approved the proposal.
The stock gained 1.85% or 20 fils to settle at KWD 1.1 by the end of Sunday’s trading session.
Turnover soared 151.96% to KWD 1.68 million as compared to about KWD 669,300 on Thursday; as trading volume rose by 152% to 1.56 million shared from nearly 662,800.
