Cairo – Mubasher: Vodafone Egypt has been in talks with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) to allow it to extend its landline and fiber optics infrastructure, as well as invest in the telecommunication infrastructure.
Telecom Egypt is the sole developer of telecommunication infrastructure in the North African nation, Vodafone Egypt’s CEO Alexandre Froment told Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper.
Froment had previously said that Vodafone’s total investment in the Egyptian market hit EGP 10 billion over the past three years.
