Doha – Mubasher: Vodafone Qatar reported a 50.8% year-on-year rise in losses for the second quarter ended 30 September 2017.
Net loss stood at QAR 96.36 million ($26.38 million) in Q1-17 from QAR 63.92 million ($17.5 million) in Q2-16, the telecom firm added in a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
In the first six months ended September 2017, net loss fell 6.1% to QAR 153.5 million, versus QAR 163.5 million in the prior-year period.
Loss per share amounted to QAR 0.18 for the six-month period, compared to QAR 0.19 for the year-ago period.
Vodafone Qatar had previously posted a 42.6% year-on-year decline in losses for Q1-17 to QAR 57.14 million from QAR 99.58 million.
