W Motors introduces self-driving MUSE at World Intelligence Congress

Mubasher: The Middle East’s first developer of hypercars, W Motors, along with ICONIQ Motors introduced the self-driving MUSE, and Ghiath Beast Patrol, one of the most advanced security vehicles in the world, in addition to other models on the sidelines of World Intelligence Congress (WIC) in Tianjin, China.

The WIC, first smart technology exchange platform, took place during the period between 16 and 19 May, W Motors said in a statement on Tuesday.

The event aims to raise awareness of the current technological revolution and industrial transformation, and how achievements in the realm of science and technology play a key role in the global economy.

W Motors also introduced ICONIQ SEVEN Generation 2, ICONIQ SEVEN Generation 2, and Lykan HyperSport, which featured as hero car in Universal Studios' Furious 7, the statement added.

MUSE offers its driver a unique travelling experience, featuring an advanced infotainment system and smart onboard services, innovative widescreen user interfaces, and advanced cloud-computed connectivity.

The production of MUSE, developed in partnership with ICONIQ Motors, will start in early 2023 in the UAE in collaboration with a team of global technology experts and visionary industry leaders such as AKKA Technologies, Magna Steyr, and Microsoft US.

As for Ghiath Beast Patrol, the care was shown in full Dubai Police livery.

The care features distinctive and highly advanced technologies, as it sets a new standard for special forces security vehicles on an international level.

It is noteworthy that the UAE has been topping the GCC and the Middle East in launching initiatives for the artificial intelligence (AI) technology as well as welcoming AI-enabled devices in the local market, as seen in Mubasher.info’s latest interview and feature on AI and the fourth industrial revelation (4IR) as well.

In April, the UAE government has opened the Emirates Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in Dubai to be the first of its kind in the region and the fifth on a global level, as part of the WEF’s centres which aim at developing future solutions and transforming them into opportunities.

The concept of self-driving means of transportation, known as autonomous vehicles, has been talked about for several years.
