Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Waha Capital, a leading investment company based in Abu Dhabi, on Monday announced the appointment of Amr Al Menhali as the company’s CEO.
Al Menhali will be joining Waha Capital next September, according to a press release.
Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, chairman of Waha Capital, commented: “The Board looks forward to working closely with Amr to deliver the company’s growth strategy, which remains focused on further developing and diversifying the company’s investments to deliver long-term value to shareholders.”
Moreover, the company’s incoming CEO Amr Al Menhali said: “I look forward to leading the company on its next phase of growth, which will involve helping to create additional value at its current investments, seeking attractive new opportunities, and building a solid asset management offering for third-party institutional investors.”
It is worth noting that Al Menhali has a two-decade of expertise at leading UAE banks, where he held a variety of senior positions and leadership roles.
