Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Waha Capital repurchased 445,000 shares on 29 June, equivalent to 5.01% of its capital, according to a bourse statement.
The company purchased the shares at AED 1.97 each, totalling AED 876,700.
As a result, the total number of treasury shares grew to 97.48 million, with 96.97 million shares remaining to be purchase.
The company’s stock declined 1.02% to AED 1.95 by 12:15pm UAE time after generating AED 6,840 from the exchange of 3,500 shares.
