Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Waha Capital said it bought back a total of 394,760 shares at AED 2.09 per share, totalling AED 825,000, on 18 November as part of its buyback programme.
The newly-purchased shares represent 0.02% of Waha’s capital and bring the total number of bought back shares to 79.28 million, whereas remaining shares total 115.16 million, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The company’s stock rose 0.95% to AED 2.12 on Wednesday after trading 1.148 million shares which generated AED 2.42 million.
