Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Waha Capital's stock increased to the highest level in two months, after the company announced a board recommendation of distributing cash dividends for the fiscal year 2015.
The company’s stock rose 2.4% to reach AED 2.25 by 11:30am UAE time, the highest price level since January.
The company said that its board recommended on Wednesday the distribution of cash dividend at 20% of capital or 20 fils per share for the fiscal year 2015, totalling AED 389 million.
Trading on the stock reached 2.09 million shares, generating AED 4.96 million.
The investment sector increased 1.2%, pushing Abu Dhabi’s main index to rise 0.66%.
