Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Waha Capital’s stock rose in Monday’s mid-session, following the announcement of financials and proposed dividends for 2016.
The stock went up 0.9% to AED 2.32 by 11:30am UAE time, generating AED 5.58 million from the exchange of 2.37 million shares.
The company’s profits declined 31% year-on-year to AED 407.17 million in 2016.
Waha’s board has recommended a 20% cash dividend or AED 0.20 per share for FY16.
The investment sector rose 0.41%, whereas Dubai’s main index fell 0.09% to 4,582.64 points.
