Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Waha Capital said it bought back 344,750 of its shares on Tuesday, 12 July at AED 1.99 per share.
The repurchased shares amounted to a total of AED 686,050, representing 0.02% of capital, the company said in a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Wednesday.
Total shares repurchased by Waha as part of its buyback programme have reached 99.52 million, whereas remaining shares stand at 94.94 million.
By 12:45pm UAE time, Waha’s stock was stable at AED 2.01 after 77,170 shares were traded at a turnover of AED 154,800.
