Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Waha Capital said it bought back 557,700 of its shares on Thursday, 14 July at AED 1.99 per share.
The repurchased shares totalled AED 1.10 million representing 0.03% of capital, the company said in a bourse filing on Sunday.
Under its buyback programme, the company’s total repurchases reached around 100 million, whereas remaining shares stand at 94.38 million.
By 12:45pm UAE time, Waha’s stock retreated 1.5% to AED 1.97 after 225,000 shares were traded at a turnover of AED 442,500.
