Mubasher: Warba Bank signed an agreement with a consortium of international consultants to coordinate a series of marketing meetings for issuing sukuk on behalf of Warba, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.
Following the meetings, which will start on 2 March, the sukuk will be issued in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Warba’s sukuk issuance will boost the bank’s capital baseline, based on Basel III requirements and the instructions of the Central Bank of Kuwait.
