Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance on Monday, backed by the real estate, banks and investment sectors.
The general index levelled down 1.3% or 41.76 points to reach 3,151.37 points.
The market saw trading of 18 million shares through 456 transactions, with turnover of AED 28.15 million.
The banks sector led losers after falling 2.25%, weighed by Dubai Islamic Bank and Emirates NBD which decreased 2.9% and 2.4%, respectively.
The real estate declined 0.96% due to a drop in Arabtec and Emaar Properties by 1.87% and 0.86% in a row.
The investment sector retreated 0.9% after Dubai Investments and DFM Company went down 1% and 0.9%, respectively.
The telecom and industrial sectors remained unchanged.
