World Bank forecasts Morocco’s economy to rise 5% in 2016

Mubasher: The World Bank expected Morocco’s economy to rise by 5% in 2016, compared with the government’s forecasts of 3.2% for the same fiscal year.

The agriculture sector is likely to continue posting positive results in the next year, while the industrial sector would keep improving, the bank said in a recent report.

It added that falling oil prices will be reflected positively on the state’s economy through reducing budget deficit.
