World Bank launches $200m fund for Egyptian SMEs

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) has signed an agreement with the World Bank to launch $200 million support fund.

The agreement was signed during the visit of World Bank’s president David Malpass to Egypt, the investment ministry stated on Saturday.

The new fund offers more opportunities for young Egyptians by increasing the size of credit available to SMEs to boost growth and create jobs.
