Cairo – Mubasher: The World Bank Group has raised its forecasts for Egypt’s gross domestic product (GDP) in the coming two years.
The North African nation’s GDP is likely to grow by 5.6% in 2019, 5.8% in 2020, and 6% by 2021, the Washington-based financial institution said in a recent report.
It is worth noting that the bank had raised Egypt’s GDP estimated by nearly 0.3% to reach 5.3% in 2018.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) previously expected the Egyptian economy to grow by around 5.5% this year and by 5.3% in 2018.
