Cairo – Mubasher: The World Bank’s current cooperation portfolio in Egypt reached about $8 billion, the Minister of International Cooperation, Rania El-Mashat, said.
The cooperation portfolio includes $5.8 billion investments by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and $2.2 billion investments by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Egypt, El-Mashat added in a statement on Wednesday.
El-Mashat held a meeting with the World Bank’s Country Director for Egypt, Yemen, and Djibouti, Marina Wes, to explore possible means of economic and developmental cooperation between the two sides.
