Dubai — Mubasher: Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is looking to boost its footprint in the emirate of Dubai by opening three new hotels in Deira Waterfront Development by Ithra Dubai.
The new hotels will operate under the Wyndham, Days by Wyndham, and Super 8 by Wyndham brands, the New York-listed hospitality firm said in a statement.

The Deira Waterfront Development of Ithra Dubai, a wholly owned subsidiary of Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), is a mixed-use area built with plans to deliver key commercial growth opportunities for the city.

The three new hotels aim to attract domestic and international business and leisure visitors looking for accommodation suited to a range of budgets, Wyndham Hotels noted.
Commenting on the hotels, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts regional vice president for Middle East, Eurasia and Africa Ignace Bauwens said, “together with Ithra Dubai, we know we can preserve the heritage of the area whilst still meeting the needs of the modern traveller and contributing to growing the district’s commercial opportunity.”
He added that the three very distinct hotel brands ranging from upscale to economy will ensure the area holds a considerable appeal for visitors to the GCC emirate from many different source markets.
Wyndham Deira Waterfront will comprise of 282 rooms and suites for upscale travellers to the city, along with fitness and leisure facilities, including a rooftop pool with views over the Gulf, the hospitality group noted.
The Days Hotel Deira Waterfront will enable midscale travellers to choose from 131 high-quality rooms and suites, in addition to featuring an all-day dining restaurant and meeting facilities.
While the 90-room Super 8 Deira Waterfront is a budget-friendly hotel with a restaurant and a cafe onsite.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts did not reveal the cost of the new hotels and their timeframes.
