Riyadh – Mubasher: The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Yamama Cement Co approved the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders for the fourth quarter of 2016.
Dividends will be distributed at SAR 0.25 per share or 2.5% of the capital, with a total amount of SAR 50.6 million, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Shareholders of record until the close of trading on the EGM's day will be eligible for the dividends, which will be distributed as of 19 March.
The EGM agreed on the distributed dividends for the previous periods of 2016 at SAR 0.50 per share for Q1 and SAR 0.25 per share for Q2, with total dividends of SAR 202.5 million for the year, representing 10% of the capital.
The cement firm reported a 72% decline in net profits year-on-year to SAR 43 million in Q4-16 from SAR 153 million.
