Riyadh-Mubasher: Yamama Cement Co. made net profits of SAR 180 million in the fourth quarter of 2015, growing 18.4% year-on-year from SAR 152 million in the year-earlier period.
The cement producer’s FY15 bottom line fell 4.3% year-on-year from SAR 671 million to SAR 642 million.
The company attributed Q4 profit growth to strong sales on local cement demand.
It added that FY15 profit decline was due to low sales and slight rise in the general and administrative expenses.
